Changes aren't showing up
You made (or know about) a change in an ad account, but it isn't in your Advec feed. Work through these causes in order — they're sorted by how often they're the answer.
1. It hasn't been half an hour yet
Advec polls ad accounts every 30 minutes. A change made 10 minutes ago simply hasn't been seen yet. Wait one full cycle before digging further.
2. The campaign isn't selected for tracking
Advec only monitors the campaigns you selected when connecting the account. Check the connection's campaign selection in your project:
- If the campaign is unticked, tick it — changes are detected from now on.
- If the campaign was created after you connected, check whether auto-add new campaigns is on for that account. If it's off, new campaigns aren't tracked until you select them manually.
3. The connection needs reconnecting
If the account's token has expired, monitoring is paused entirely. Check the notification bell for a reconnect required notice — reconnecting resumes monitoring, though changes made during the gap aren't backfilled.
4. That change type isn't tracked
Advec detects budget, status, targeting, bid strategy, creative, schedule, and tracking changes. Something outside that list — for example, a change to an account-level billing setting — won't produce a change entry. See Understanding change detection for the full reference.
Still stuck?
Email hello@getadvec.com with the project, campaign, and roughly when the change was made, and we'll look at it.
