Connect Google Ads

By the end of this page, Advec will be watching your chosen Google Ads campaigns — including accounts managed under an MCC.

Before you start

You need a Google account with access to the Google Ads accounts you want to track. Advec requests read-only access and never modifies your campaigns.

Google plays two separate roles in Advec: it can be your sign-in provider and your ads platform — and these are two separate authorizations. When connecting Google Ads, authorize with the Google account that has access to your Ads accounts, which may not be the account you log in to Advec with.

Connect and choose what to track

  1. Open your project and click Connect Google Ads.
  2. A Google authorization window opens. Choose the right Google account and approve the requested access.
  3. Back in Advec, pick the Google Ads accounts to track.
  4. For each account, pick the campaigns to monitor, or enable auto-add for full coverage.
  5. Confirm. Advec takes an initial snapshot and starts monitoring.

Manager (MCC) accounts

If the Google account you authorize has access to a manager account (MCC), Advec lists all the client accounts managed under it. Pick the client accounts you want in this project, then their campaigns — you don't need separate credentials for each client.

This is the standard setup for agencies: authorize once with your MCC login, then track any managed client.
